“Sheriff’s office. It’s safe to come out,” the posting said, adding that a man’s voice could be temporarily heard from behind the classroom door of an Oxford High School during the shooting that killed three students and eight others were injured.

A dozen or so frightened students seen on clips inside the room immediately suspect the alleged authority figure.

A girl is heard whispering, “We don’t know who she is.”

A student standing by the door responds sternly to the voice on the other side, “We’re not taking that risk right now.”

The man’s voice pleads, “Okay, okay, just open the door, and look into my eyes, brother.”

The school shooter was quickly apprehended after police received a flood of 911 calls.

His informal language was enough to convince the students that he could not be trusted.

“He said, ‘Brother.’ Red flag!” says a male student.

According to footage, the students then begin to jump out of one of the room’s first-floor windows and run through the snow at the main entrance of the high school, manned by a uniformed officer.

“Slow down. You’re fine,” the officer tells the panicked teen, as the 52-second clip shared on Snapchat, Tik Tok and Twitter ends.
