Toronto police seek 2 men after alleged Scarborough kidnapping

Toronto police are searching for two men wanted in connection with an alleged kidnapping in Scarborough.

Toronto Police said they were called to the area of ​​Markham Road and Eglinton Avenue East at approximately 3:45 p.m. on November 17 for a report of a suspicious incident.

It is alleged that a man was forced into a vehicle by three suspects and assaulted “for several hours” in the area of ​​Scarborough town centre. Police said she was forced at gunpoint to hand over the valuables.


According to the police, the youth fled several hours after the fight started.

On Friday, 18 November, Sulaiman Sufi, 21, was arrested. Police charged him with eight separate crimes, including kidnapping, robbery with a firearm, and theft of a motor vehicle.

Toronto police said two other suspects remain outstanding.

They were named as 23-year-old Muhsin Sufi — who is described as six feet tall and weighing 150 pounds, with a slim build and dark hair — and Abdulhai Patel, 20.

Patel is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 220 pounds, and has black hair.

Both are wanted in several cases including kidnapping.
