Trump supporter predicts ‘civil war coming’ and Twitter swiftly knocks down the idea

A supporter of Donald Trump told a reporter ahead of a rally for former President Des Moines over the weekend, “I see civil war is coming”, in an amusing gesture, at a largely unconvincing reaction on social media.

talking to NBC The reporter, Lori Levy, a pro-Trump merchandise salesperson who travels from rally to rally, lay in politicians on both sides of the aisle.

She said: “I think Republicans are as vulnerable as they possibly can be in Congress.”


“You probably have six that are worth their salt,” she continued. “Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, Rand Paul, and two or three others, the rest of them are the same as the Democrats. They’ve been there for a very long time. They’re the establishment. They don’t care about the American people because they don’t care about their elite. are in the small tower.”

“So we’re just sick of it, you know, and we’re not going to take it anymore,” she continued. “I see a civil war coming – I do. I see a civil war coming.”

NBC reporter Gary Grumbach said, “There’s a civil war coming, that’s what he said and it’s a feeling we’re hearing people on the ground at today’s Trump rally.”

“Civil War is Coming” began trending on Twitter, with users posting a raft of memes ridiculing the idea.

@PapaLovesKitty posted a picture of a non-plused looking cat with the text “K” on it, while @JRasputin2013 Wrote: “It should be called Sniwell War.”

During this, @AndrewYang Took the comments more seriously, posting: “Polarization is worse than ever and worse isn’t better. A civil war is coming if we don’t stop dehumanizing those who disagree politically.”
