former President trump indicated on Saturday that he could run for president again in 2024.

The former president, a New York native, spoke briefly about the September 11, 2001, attacks on the World Trade Center and Afghanistan when he visited the 17th Precinct of the New York Police Department (NYPD) before taking questions from officers.


“It’s a tough question,” Trump replied on whether he would run for president for a second time. “Actually, to me, it’s a simple question. I mean, I know what I’m going to do, but I shouldn’t be talking about it yet from the point of view of campaign finance laws, which clearly are ridiculous.”

Trump spoke about the economy under his administration, the number of national jobs, regulatory rollbacks and increased funding for the military. He also suggested that his administration was “getting along with the other side” when he was in office.

The House of Representatives made history in January when members of Congress voted to impeach Trump for a second time, a week after the January 6 Capitol riots and just days before President Biden was sworn in as the 46th President of the United States. Voted.

The former president and his allies have previously said he would run again in 2024.
