The victims, both in their 20s, were with a friend when they left the Westminster nightclub at 3 a.m. on Sunday 25 July.

The couple boarded a car, which they believed was a private hired taxi they had booked before leaving the club.

But the women got suspicious when the driver started going in the wrong direction and made them drink alcohol. He refused and left for Hornsey Street, Islington.

The Metropolitan Police said that as they left, the driver sexually assaulted the women before heading towards Holloway Road.
