Just a month after the free-to-play battle royale Vampire: The Masquerade – Blood Hunt was released, a new update enters Act Two. Sharkmob’s team is busy working to implement improvements based on feedback, and many changes to quality of life in update.
However, it is important to note that there are no optimization changes in this update, so those suffering from poor performance will still have the same experience. Sharkmob has made this a high priority, and expect improvements to come soon.
One of the main improvements in the update is changes to the revive and response mechanics. Players will now have an on-screen reminder that teammates can give them feedback to better illustrate the mechanics. Teammate health bars have also been updated to show when it is possible to revive them. The respawn station has also received improvements to its visual effects upon activation.
A new location is now available blood hunts Prague’s version, Rudolfinum Concert Hall. It originally served as a haven for the Toridor clan of vampires, but is now available for combat encounters.
The second act also adds to the new discoveries that come with the cosmetic awards. New outfits, makeup and tattoos will also be available for character customization.
There will be changes in the clan’s powers to help with the balance. Nosferatu’s nerf ability wears off with shorter duration and slower tempo, and the Toreador siren has been fixed as well. It was initially meant to have a white flashbang effect, but a bug prevented it from working.
