2018 sequel poison Tom Hardy reprises his role as Eddie Brock/Venom, starring alongside Woody Harrelson, Stephen Graham, Michelle Williams and Naomi Harris.

A ‘Fans First’ screening in London yesterday (14 September) gave select fans the chance to watch the film ahead of its official release, with Hardy and Serkis in attendance to open the event.


“I can say with all my heart” [Venom 2] was complete carnage,” wrote one fan Twitter. “I loved it so much!”

Another called the film “absolute and utter chaos” after attending the first screening, encouraging others to bookmark the October 15 release date.

Podcaster Neil Waig also attended the initial screening, he said Venom 2 “Friends film is a frenzied mix of romance and horror”. He praised Hardy’s performance, saying “Harlson IS Carnage.”

With many stressing the importance of the film’s post-credits scene, without revealing spoilers, one fan simply wrote: “Oh my god stay for the credits.”
