Gate City, VA – Dramatic dashcam footage captured the quick reaction of a police officer in Virginia who pulled a fellow officer out of the way of a car out of control and possibly saved the two of them from serious injuries.

The police department said both the officers are expected to return to regular duty.
“I believe that Officer Stewart’s swift action not only saved himself from serious bodily injury or death, but Officer McGraw as well,” Miller said.
The driver of the white car was issued a citation for failure to maintain proper control of his vehicle.
