Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Added its Chaos West mode earlier this year. The mode sees players start out at a low power level and gradually become more powerful as they progress through missions. In an upcoming update, Fatshark intends to add more resistant enemies to players’ increasing power levels.
“The Grudge Marked enemies are not your everyday Chaos spawn, bile troll or rat ogre. Recognizable by spears poke through their backs, a grumpy-marked monster in the trash provides an added challenge,” says Developer Update.
These grudge marked enemies will receive a random set of attributes that modify their offensive and defensive behavior. Ten possible features will be added in the update. The number of attributes that can be applied to the enemy depends on the difficulty setting being played. A grudge mark enemy can have a minimum of zero attributes and a maximum of three.
New challenges and rewards will be added in the update. “Each career will have a new set of challenges that will reward a new character skin color variation upon completion. We’re adding 60 new challenges and 15 new character skin color variations to unlock. You can keep progressing through these challenges. Can be tracked in Okri Book from within.”
Players owning premium careers will receive four additional challenges per career and a different variation for each career to unlock. New premium hats and skins will also be available for purchase at Lohner’s Wonders Emporium.
In other news, a mod has revamped SkyrimFalkreath is. The mod adds new exterior designs to many buildings in the city and includes unique interiors. The modders have made similar changes for several other cities in the game.
