A vehicle was being searched late Friday in the nation’s capital that police believe is linked to a shootout that killed at least one person and injured at least three others. Went.
Leslie Parsons, assistant chief of Washington DC’s Metropolitan Police Department, told reporters during a late-night news conference that the vehicle being sought was a large silver or gray sedan.

Parsons said the shooting occurred around 8:13 p.m. in the southeast part of the city.
Officers responding to a call of gunfire found an injured man and was taken to hospital, then found another wounded man, who later died. Parsons said two other injured people sought treatment on their own at the hospital.
The victims were not identified and the medical condition of the injured was not immediately known.
