FKA Twigs has unveiled a new video for their recent single ‘Major of a Man’ featuring Central C – check it out below.

The video, directed by Diana Kunst, features FKA Twigs wielding a sword against a demon-like figure, while Central C raps against a red background as FKA Twigs dances behind her.


The track, which takes on a dramatic tone, posed a challenge for Tiggs, who said in an earlier statement: “This song has a different sound, which is a challenge; you have to really embody the song. For me especially with my singing, I had to bring out a different side of my artistry.”

West London rapper Central C said: “What I hear when I try to find the beats is something dramatic, it needs to sound like a movie. And that’s exactly what’s happening with this song. Looks like it’s made for a film, whatever it may be.”

king’s manu serves as a prequel to kingsman films, and stars Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton, Rhys Ifans and Djimon Hounsou among others. The upcoming film is slated to release in the UK on 22nd December.

In late September, FKA Twigs teamed up with the ‘Join the Chorus’ initiative, a global campaign to help prevent domestic and sexual violence. The singer starred in an animated short film that seeks to raise awareness for “collective power to stop the violence that one in three women experience in their lifetime”.

Earlier that same month, Tiggs shared an insight into her upcoming “deep, emotional and honest” mixtape, which has yet to receive a release date and will serve as a follow-up to her 2019 album “Magdalene.”


Central C, on the other hand, released their mixtape ‘Wild West’ in March. In a four star review, Granthshala wrote: “Central C clearly has the tenacity and notoriety to resonate while leaving room for charm; it makes his attitude toward Mike all the more appealing.”

He has also been nominated in four categories at the MOBO Awards 2021, including Best Male Act and Song of the Year (“Commitment Issues”). This year’s ceremony will take place in Coventry on December 5.
