The Band Played Many Classic Hits

Green Day has performed its first full concert tour in the US in more than a year.

The band played several classic hits at a warm-up show at Tulsa’s Cain Ballroom ahead of their “Hella Mega Tour” with Fall Out Boy and Weezer this weekend. The UK/European leg was recently postponed due to the coronavirus crisis.

Songs played by the band included the 1994 ‘Dookie’ singles ‘Welcome to Paradise’, ‘Jesus of Suburbia’ and ‘Boulevard of Broken Dreams’, which you can see below.


Green Day also played fan favorites such as “Holiday”, “Still Breathing” and “Minority”.

The band will begin their ‘Hella Mega Tour’ at Globe Life Field in Texas on Saturday (July 24). It will culminate on September 6 at T Mobile Park in Seattle.

The band recently teased that new music may be on the horizon.

They returned in May with the single ‘Polyanna’, which followed February’s ‘Here Comes the Shock’. His latest album, ‘Father of All Motherfuckers’, came out in early 2020.

Talking to your band Oakland Coffee company for thisMorning Roast’ interview series, Mike Durnutt was asked what he was coming up with that he was most looking forward to.

“New music … and unknown adventures,” he replied.

It was also recently announced that Green Day is getting its own Funko Pop! doll

The new doll is modeled on the band’s 2004 ‘American Idiot’ video, which featured Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Durnutt and Trey Kool wearing black shirts with a colored tie.
