Hearn told Boxing Social: “It was such a great performance, so I think it’s disrespectful to say that George Combos is an easy touch.

“He just beat Teofimo, who beat Lomachenko. So George deserves respect and credit, and right now, he’s the man. I don’t mind saying that.”

“Devin Haney is my man, but has great respect for George and his father. But right now, George is that man; he’s scored an extraordinary victory in the division.

“And this win for Devin this Saturday will be another great win, and then the two should meet.”
