Last night Borough traveled to local non-league outfit Tavistock AFC for their latest friendly.

But it was Warnock’s touching gesture after his team’s 7-0 victory that got Twitter into the limelight.

A clip was posted after Warnock arrived in a bomb bag near the touchline while speaking to the audience.

He then took out a signed photograph of himself before handing the gift to a young girl.

Sharing the footage online, the baby’s father, Lee Hall, captioned it: “What a lovely touch.

“Thanks Neil, my daughter is over the moon.”

The video soon went viral and another person shared his recent encounter with the record-breaking manager.

Posting a photo of the two doing thumbs up with Warnock, she wrote: “Love him We were in Cornwall a month ago and just bumped into him and Mrs W Lou! They stood and talked for centuries and both were very cute!”

Fans liked the fact that Warnock carries himself around in a bum bag as he was fully praised for his kind act.

And former Boro star Yannick Bolasi joined in too, tweeting: “What a man! #Gafar, the last of a dying breed.

Warnock made EFL history last season by winning a record 11th Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month award.

He was already ahead of Chris Houghton in the all-time standings before he had another scoop for his collection after an unbeaten October.
