Bridgers’ set at Austin City Limits last weekend was cut short after the sound was cut during the final song on their set.

The musician tweeted “lol crap acl” after their set, and the festival has since apologised.

“Unfortunately, due to a miscommunication on stage by ACL Festival personnel, the sound on the final song [the] Phoebe Bridges’ set was hacked during her ACL Fest Weekend Two performance,” the ACL statement reads.

“We wish this had not happened and we would have apologized to Phoebe. After a positive conversation about the situation between the festival organizers and the artist, ACL Fest organized a show of support for Phoebe and an organization close to her heart. Has made a donation to the Texas Abortion Fund.

The Bridgers feature on Noah Gunderson’s song “Atlantis” – taken from their new album “A Pillar of Salt” – was released last week.

“Phoebe can’t be physically [music] video but she is in spirit as the melodious voice of my inner monologue,” Gunderson wrote in a press statement about their collaboration.
