The Pretty Reckless has unveiled their new video for “Only Love Can Save Me Now,” which features cameos from Soundgarden’s Kim Thayil and Matt Cameron.

Thayil and Cameron appeared on the track, which was released earlier this year on The Pretty Reckless album ‘Death by Rock and Roll’, and have now appeared in the video.
You can watch the video below, in which musicians from both bands perform on a dramatic, water-covered stage.
“It’s hard to describe the feeling around our song Only Love Can Save Me Now,” said Pretty Reckless lead singer Taylor Momsen. “This song was born out of tragedy and brought to life by two of my favorite musicians of all time, Matt Cameron and Kim Thayil.
“Hearing them play is just surreal. This song represents going through the worst times of my life, and yet, it’s one of my proudest achievements. It means there’s hope, and life to move on.” is, and most importantly, worth living.”
“It was so much fun spending time in the studio with Taylor” [Momsen], beno [Phillips], and Matt, and had the opportunity to contribute to this The Pretty Reckless song,” said Thayil.
Comparing the riff to Soundgarden’s 1989 album ‘Louder Than Love’, he said: “These are great guitar parts that Ben came up with. They laid a heavy foundation that encapsulates the entire song with Taylor’s powerful and haunting vocals.” Allows to open together.
In April, meanwhile, Momson said she talks regularly to Lily Cornell Silver, daughter of the late Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell, about mental health.
Momsen described how music helped Cornell recover from mental health issues following his death in 2017. At the time of his death, The Pretty Reckless was on tour with him and Soundgarden.
