Brassic’s third series is set to hit the screens later this year. Series two ends on a cliffhanger as Winnie (Joe Gilgun) confesses her true feelings for single mother Erin (Michelle), as if she was being chased away by the police.

As she was being carried away, Erin, who has dated her best friend Dylan, heard something inaudible in her ear.

Expressing his feelings, Winnie said: ‘I know it’s wrong, but you’re the first thing in the morning, and you’re the last thing in the night.’

Then he said that he didn’t know ‘how to tell’ how much she meant to him.

Brassic follows the story of Lancashire native Vinnie, who suffers from bipolar disorder and his best friend Dylan, played by Damien Moloney, from whom he has been inseparable since childhood.

A tainted past, the boys dealt with, scammed, bribed and made their way through adolescence.

Now, on the verge of adulthood, his behavior and stealing is catching up with him, with the consequences of his crimes coming his way.

Michelle plays alongside him as a single mother looking for a better life for herself and son Tyler (Jude Riordan).

While navigating a complicated relationship with show heads Dylan and Winnie, she still strives for a good childhood for her son.

Brassic’s new series is expected to air on Sky One in October this year, following the rise of the previous season.
