The couple decided to have a short wedding when they were forced to postpone and then eventually called off their wedding in Provence, France due to the COVID pandemic.

talking to People On Monday, the newlyweds said: ‘We were only able to invite a small group of close friends who live in the greater NYC area, and who were in quarantine at the time.
‘We had a lovely afternoon and we look forward to celebrating our love with our parents and immediate families soon.
‘Big or small, wedding party or not, we feel so grateful and lucky to have each other.’

Speaking about her excitement at the time, Palmer told DailyMail.com: ‘I’ve become so infatuated, so in love with this woman, and it’s only grown. I stand on my head for him.’
The happy couple met by chance two years ago while taking a group boxing class together at the Rumble in New York City.
Palmer said: ‘I looked at her and thought she was beautiful. I didn’t meet her until later, she was coming when I was leaving.
‘We ended up connecting and our first date was two weeks later at the Rumble.’
Palmer said the first romantic vacation they took as a couple was in Champagne, adding that he knew that if things continued to go well with Emily, this is where he would propose.
He said: ‘I decided to propose somewhere worthwhile, a place that was familiar to us. I decided that this is the place.’
