Over the weekend, he revealed on Twitter that he had traveled back to the US for November.

“I have been living abroad for 4 out of the last 5 years. Sadly, I will be grateful for this holiday leaving America for a more peaceful life,” he wrote. “Violence has been normalized in America. violent crime, political violence, open-carry [gun] Law.”

He continued: “My trip home was a palpable sense of danger. In all parts of the country, small town, big city. The realization is that we have always been violent but have decided to get away from it. Now we have it completely adopted from.”

In another source, Pierce said he is “not leaving my country, community or family”.

“I am a US citizen. I take ownership of it because I know that my family and community have built this country and its wealth,” he wrote. “I have lived abroad because of work and it is comforting to know that not everyone carries a gun.”

He said he felt a “real change” during this current visit to his country, and pointed to the number of people he has seen carrying guns.

Citing witness testimony from the Kyle Rittenhouse trial, Pierce said: “As a witness at trial last week said ‘Key, Wallet, Phone, Gun. It’s natural.’ I don’t want to live in that world. I still get a chance to vote and influence change, but living abroad has been a divine gift.”

“I’m in America once a month,” he shared. “I am so home that friends, family, my church and others assume that I am far away from business, not realizing that I am living abroad. It gives me the opportunity to see change in America.” Conflict resolution with guns is becoming acceptable.”
