Chelsea forward Timo Werner is pranked by teammates Mason Mount and Jorginho in a hilarious video released by the Blues.
The 25-year-old German was forced to think he was participating in a promotional ad for Yokohama, the sponsor of the blues.
But he was actually being instructed by a man who had an earpiece with a mount and Jorginho was feeding him what to say.
And the Chelsea duo took full advantage of the mischief by getting Werner several funny skits.
He performed car noises, wore a hilarious racing outfit, lugged a tire and drove around in a mini go-kart.
At the end of the video Mount and Jorginho reveal themselves to Werner, much to the German’s disbelief.
After finding out that it was a prank, he said: “I can’t believe I’d actually do something. Some stupid things like [making a car noise]”
Mount then consoled his teammate by saying: “You’re a good sport.”
Werner has struggled to find the back of the net since arriving at Stamford Bridge from RB Leipzig in the summer of 2020.
He has scored 14 goals in 60 games for the club, taking his record for the current season to two in eight appearances.
Incredibly, Werner had more goals conceded – 16 – than goals scored in his time with the Blues.
But the German hit the back of the net – after being outside one – for the Blues over the weekend as Chelsea battled to claim a 3-1 victory over Southampton.
