What will Mr Johnson talk about?

The PM is expected to focus on “changing direction” and “flattening” his party’s vision under his slogan – “Build Better”.

In a statement on Sunday, Mr Johnson said: “Improved construction means we want things to turn around and recover.

He talked about tackling the country’s long-term challenges and people’s priorities, such as “on social care, on supporting jobs, on climate change, on tackling crime and raising standards.”

He added that Tory ministers are “working with a strong and cohesive team – making tough decisions, focusing on what really matters to the people.”

The PM is also expected to address the current fuel crisis, shortage of HGV drivers and the possibility of empty shop shelves.

Mr Johnson’s speech today coincides with a £20 per week cut at Universal Credit, and comes weeks after a significant cabinet reshuffle.
