BTS is behind chart-topping songs like ‘Life Goes On’ and ‘Dynamite’

They are one of the most popular boy bands in the world. BTS featured members such as Jin, Suga, RM, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook on songs such as “Dynamite,” “Boy with Love,” and “Life Goes On.”


Together, BTS became the first K-pop group to perform at the Grammy Awards. He also collaborated with artists such as Sia, Nicki Minaj, Charli XCX and Halsey. 2021 brought more original BTS music, including two all-English singles that debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 music chart.

“Butter” and “Dance Allowed” are both popular BTS songs, but for different reasons. On their premiere dates, both music videos started trending on YouTube. “Butter” also made history, earning the title of YouTube video with the most streams in 24 hours, surpassing the K-pop group’s 2020 release, “Dynamite.”

When it comes to the number of plays on Spotify, “Butter” tops “Dance Allowed,” currently sitting at 554 million plays. However, it debuted a few weeks before the single “Dance Allowed”, which has about 240 million plays. This may be contributing to the difference in streaming numbers.

The K-pop group also debuted a remix of “Butter”, with Grammy Award-winning rapper Megan Thee Stallion adding to their popularity. That version has over 35 million plays on the music streaming platform.

Due to the “Dance Allowed” video challenge, hundreds of ARMYs submitted videos of themselves dancing to the choreography of BTS. Others posted singing covers on music and video platforms.

BTS has already done live songs like ‘Permission to Dance’ and ‘Butter’

Although this K-pop group is physically away from fans at the moment, these artists shared virtual performances of songs such as “Butter” and “Dance Allowed”. In July 2021, BTS performed “Dance Allowed” at the BBC Radio 1 lounge.

“Butter” had live performances during the Billboard Music Awards and The Late Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The song was also featured in a McDonald’s ad, sharing information about BTS food.

“I wasn’t insisting on preparing for it like I was with ‘Butter’,” BTS leader, RM, said during an interview. Board. “When it came to ‘butter’, I had to think about what we should be showing and how I could do that.”

“But I didn’t really have to worry about it with ‘Dance Allowed,'” he continued. “Honestly, I thought I only needed to add a dash of joy to what I felt.”
