Wolves Records has producer SX and former Rolling Stones manager Peter Rudge.
Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club has launched its own record label, becoming the first Premier League club to do so.
Wolves Records is formed in association with Warner Music UK’s Alternative Distribution Alliance (ADA) and are looking for their first signing.

On board to help build the label is Wolverhampton-based producer and singer-songwriter SX, who said: “I am very excited to have joined and supported Wolves Records from the start and helped identify the best local talent. Looking forward to helping and working with the label’s first artists.
“Both Wolves and the City of Wolverhampton are very close to my heart, and I am very passionate about giving the region’s brightest youth the best of opportunities and the rich musical talent of the West Midlands. I am really looking forward to seeing Wolves Records Music How can I influence the industry and support new artists, and I am also very proud that this is my club which is the first club in the UK to venture into authentic music in such an exciting and exciting way. “

Former Rolling Stones and The Who manager Peter Rudge is joining the label as a strategic advisor.
“I was born a mile away from the famous old man” [Wolves stadium] Molineux and came to my first game with my Uncle Hadd in March 1951,” he said in a statement. “I sat on my uncle’s shoulders on the old South Bank, and thus began the love affair with wolves that have been such a big part of my life ever since.
“ADA of Wolves and Warner Music will merge these two cultures and partners, combining their respective skills and assets to develop Wolves Records, and in turn support, nurture and encourage the local music community. I am involved in this initiative Thrilled to be, to be able to be a part of, Wolves record making, and thus combining two of my, and the world’s, great passions – football and music.
