Woman, 22, shot dead in Mississauga identified

A woman was shot dead in Mississauga late Wednesday.

Peel Regional Police said they responded to multiple calls for a shooting in the area, just before midnight Ninth Line and Burnhamthorpe Road West.

cast. Akhil Mooken told reporters at the scene on Thursday that the authorities found the woman suffering from bullet wounds outside a commercial complex, where she later died.

She was later identified as 22-year-old Marissa Radstek of Walkerton, Ont.

Muken could not confirm that she was linked to the address where she was found.

“This investigation is still in its early stages, so we have little or no information to share, and so it’s important that we talk to any witnesses in the area,” Muken said.

The Murder Bureau has taken over the investigation.
