At least two police cars, an ambulance and a firefighter descended on the scene in St Helens, Liverpool (pictured).

Neighbors said emergency teams were at the scene for more than an hour before attendance plummeted.

At the scene, police can be seen loading a small dog into the back of an unmarked black van before driving away.

A resident close to the property said: ‘You should have seen this earlier, the whole street was filled with police, ambulances and everything, it was crazy.’

Another person, who lives on the same property as Assam Close, said the property has been in trouble in the past and residents have to bear the ‘loss’ through it.
