Woman shot twice after alleged road rage incident in Houston

A Texas woman is recovering after being shot twice in the wake of an alleged road-rage incident, according to Harris County officials.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the 21-year-old victim was found Thursday by deputies called to the scene. Granthshala on Friday. The statement said his injuries were not life-threatening.

“Before taking the woman to the hospital, he stated that she was involved in an accident and due to which she was shot,” the department said. “Representatives found several spent rounds in the four block area period with no other information.”

“I shot about 10 to 12 shots,” neighbor Arletha Ferguson told KPRC, adding that she ran outside after hearing gunshots.

“My heart started beating faster because those were some loud shots and I felt like someone was getting shot,” she told the station.

“I have lived here for over 15 years and this has never happened in my street. But you know, in today’s time it can happen anywhere,” Ms Ferguson said.
