A 24-year-old woman whose dancing next to NFL head coach Urban Mayer went viral has been placed under investigation by her employer.

New Horizon Media Group, a marketing company headquartered in Ohio, told USA Today An internal investigation into a female employee was triggered after she was filmed dancing near the head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars at the Urban Chophouse in Columbus, Ohio.

Her mother said that since the release of the video, the woman is being targeted for abuse and she is afraid to leave her house.

The mother said that she is praying that her daughter should not be fired because she needs a job.

In one video the woman is shown dancing near the mayor and in another video the mayor is clearly shown grasping the women’s buttocks.

On Friday, former NFL player Tim Tebow said he was “praying” for Mr Mayer.

Mr Tebow, who played under Mr Meyer at the University of Florida and the Jaguars, said he was in contact with the head coach to apologize and learn from his actions.

“I know it has taken such a heavy toll on his heart and it is hurting,” said Mr Tebow. ESPN.
