The bizarre story of a woman’s “worst first date ever”, which ended with her buying 100 tacos for a man and running away with 94 of them, has gone viral on social media.

Ellyse Myers, who has 200,000 followers on TikTok, shared in detail what it was like to be on a date that went horribly wrong — to the extent that she thought she was “about to kill.”

“What’s the worst first date I’ve ever had? I’m glad you asked,” Ms. Meyers (@elysemyers) said at the beginning of her viral video, garnering over 13 million views.

“I was on dating apps before I met my husband’s smoke show,” she continued. “This guy messages me out of the blue and goes ‘I like your face, let’s get some food.'”

Ms. Myers agreed, but things quickly turned bad after their date asked her to go to his house and then to the restaurant.

“I took 45 minutes to his house. He is standing outside it. He walks up to my car and he goes, ‘I’ve lost my keys. Can you take us there?’ Should I have left him there and went home? Yes. did i? Absolutely not,” she said.

Tiktoker agreed that he should have seen the red flags by that time, but took them both to the Taco Bell outlet as he gave her turn-by-turn directions.

“We end up at a Taco Bell which is fine. I’m like ‘dine in or drive-thru?’ He says drive-thru. Great, he has a plan. He leans over again and says, ‘I want 100 tacos, thanks’, she said.

“We go to the window and he starts patting his body and I was like ‘Did you forget your wallet?'”

He’s actually forgotten his wallet and Ms. Myers paid $149 for 100 tacos she didn’t even want.

“I buy 100 tacos and I asked her where do we go now? And she said ‘Back to my house.’ Well, it is happening. I am committed to it now, it is happening,” she said.

But her nightmare date didn’t end there. The two ate their food quietly and soon his father joined them.

“I’m just calmly opening my taco and chopping it up. We’re eating hard shell tacos in complete silence. You can hear the two of us chewing, it’s chaos,” she explains.

“Dad walks upstairs, grabs a taco—there are 100, there are many left—he is eating over us, as if standing. Crunches with a mouthful and asked me if I wanted to visit his studio.”

It was at the time, Ms. Myers thought it was best that she call it a day “otherwise I was going to be killed, 100 percent.”

“I walk out with a box of tacos in my purse, I look back and was like. ‘Thanks for the experience. You’ll never hear from me again.'”

Ms. Myers received an overwhelming response from her followers, who ask her several questions, forcing her to make two follow-up Q&A about the date of the taco bell.

She said in a video that she herself took 94 tacos in her car while almost running away from home.

The video also invited a response from Tinder which quipped: “As @tinder I’ve heard a lot of bad dating stories, but as of 10/7/2021 it’s in the top 10.”
